Digital Factory proudly presents its debut release, ‘Melodic Starsphere’, featuring various artists. The compilation music style resides mostly in the territory between Melodic Techno and Progressive House, making additional forays into Organic House and Downtempo. Similar to the productions of labels like Anjunadeep, RCA and Afterlife, the music marries pumping tech beats, synthetic basslines and melodic synth leads, resulting in a potent hybrid sound with hot rhythms revealing a sense of confidence and assertive expression.

‘Melodic Starsphere’ is loaded with impressive tracks. Mikalogic’s ‘I Can’t Get In’ is a pulsating electronic landscape punctuated with filtered pads and dashing melodies. Khaled Abdrabo pursues a similar path on ‘The Invisible Guest’ with upbeat electronic techno elements, melodic and driving at once. Markovits’ ‘Circles’ blends a progressive house beat with delicate melodies and a more introspective mood, while Maetim’s ‘Born’ offers a driving tech beat powered by a melodic synth work and a plethora of rhythmic interjections to keep the energy up and moving. Deep:art’s ‘Luna’ brings back the progressive feel with heavy basslines and fat synth arpeggios pushing the spoken vocals that led the track forward as it grows and evolves constantly. Karo V’s ‘New Horizons’ lowers down the tempo and is sensual and organic with airy passionate vocals slowly building into an emotive and deep piece. Closing the set, Madd Rod’s ‘Zurich’ is a particularly animated drum workout driven by emotional strings. Is fast, bouncy and melodic, to create a dynamic flowing energy and revealing the artist’s musical identity on the modern electronica field.
